OIC Foreign Ministers Discuss Aid for Palestine

Foreign Ministers of the Organization of Islamic Cooperation member-states held the Donors' Conference for financing the strategic plan for developing the holy city of Al-Quds in support of Al-Quds and constituent conference of the Islamic Financial Security Network in support of Palestine in Baku.
The conference was attended by representatives of a number of international organizations, including OIC, ISESCO, the Gulf Cooperation Council, Islamic Solidarity Fund for Development (ISFD) and Islamic Development Bank.
Representatives of the OIC member states – foreign ministers, foreign ministries’ officials, heads and employees of diplomatic missions in Baku also participated in the event.
Creation of the Islamic Financial Security Network for the purpose of providing assistance to the Palestinian people was reflected in the final communiqué adopted at the 13th summit of the heads of states and governments of the Organization for Islamic Cooperation in Cairo on 6-7 February.
