The center’s university relations committee has organized the workshop, according to dar-alquran.org website.
Fatimah Rahim al-Shuaili, a member of the committee, said the move is aimed at enhancing the Quranic skills of the students who are staying at home as universities in the country have been closed to stem the spread of the coronavirus.
She said methods of memorizing the Quran and learning and acting upon the teachings of the Holy Book are among the themes of the workshop.
According to al-Shuaili, more than 440 students from different governorates of Iraq are taking part in the online workshop.
The participants will receive certificates at the end of the workshop, which will run for two weeks, she went on to say.
