Seerah Nabawi Contest in Egypt
TEHRAN (IQNA) – A national competition featuring questions on the Seerah Nabawi (life and sayings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH)) began in Egypt on Saturday.
According to al-Yawm al-Sabi website, the competition is aimed at promoting the teachings of the Holy Prophet (PBUH).
It also seeks to show the truth about those who have extremist ideas and wrongly attribute their ideas to Islam and its teachings.
The contest, in which participants answer written questions and submitting them to Awqaf departments across the country, will continue for a month.
Winners will receive cash prizes ranging from 3,000 to 10,000 Egyptian pounds.
