ISESCO Supports a Quran Memorization Center in Tajikistan

The Islamic Educational Scientific and Cultural Organization (ISESCO) has extended financial and technical support to the center for the memorization of the Holy Quran and teaching of related sciences, based in Dushanbe, Republic of Tajikistan.

The grant is aimed at strengthening the center’s leading efforts in promoting memorization of the Quran and teaching of related sciences, as well as advancing Quranic education in Tajikistan, through the development of methods of program planning, monitoring and evaluation, and promotion of the use of modern technologies in the center.
The aid is part of the implementation of the programs and activities scheduled under ISESCO’s Action Plan for 2013-2015, which are aimed at extending the scope of the teaching of the Holy Quran and related sciences in the Member States.
