1st Quarterly in Persian Published in Najaf

The first volume of a Persian language quarterly titled “Velayat” was published by the Media Section of Imam Ali’s (AS) holy shrine in Najaf.




According to Buratha news agency, Faeq Al-Shemri, in charge of the information office of the custodianship of the holy shrine said that the magazine was published in cooperation with the international information section of the Alawi holy shrine with the aim of disseminating Imam Ali’s (AS) thought.



He added that the quarterly is a translation of Al-Velayah Magazine from Arabic into the Persian language including articles of the three latest volumes of the Arabic magazine.



Riyadh Majid Al-Khazraji, head of the international information section of the holy shrine, said that the section has recently focused on translation of the publications of the holy shrine into various languages such as English, Urdu, Persian, Spanish and French.



He expressed hope that the translated works will be distributed among pilgrims of the holy shrine and sent to the countries and regions where these languages are spoken so that the Alawi culture will be introduced to the world.
