Listen to Iranian Qari Shakernejad’s Recitation of Surahs Ikhlas, Furqan

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Prominent Iranian Qari Hamed Shakernejad recently recited Surah al-Ikhlas and verses from Surah al-Furqan of the Holy Quran.

He recited the verses at a ceremony held in Mashhad to commemorate the late Iranian Quran activist Mohammad Kazem Mohammadzadeh.

Mohammadzadeh died last week at the age of 64.

He was a member of the Quran Council of Astan Quds Razavi and regularly held Quranic sessions gathering the city’s Quran activists together.

Shakernejad is a renowned Qari and many young reciters try to imitate his style. 

He won Saudi Arabia’s international Quran competition in 1996.
