Quran Desecration in Kuwait

TEHRAN (IQNA) – Torn pages of the Holy Quran were found in a mosque in al-Qasour region of Kuwait.

 

According to Eram News website, unknown individuals desecrated the Holy Book at Haram bin Malhan Mosque earlier this week.

A Kuwaiti citizen who found the pages reported the incident to the police,

An investigation has been launched to find those behind the act of decoration and their motive.

In 2013, some individuals raided two mosques in Al-Salimiya region of Kuwait and burned copies of the Quran.

Kuwait is an Arab country in Western Asia, situated in the northern edge of Eastern Arabia at the tip of the Persian Gulf.

Islam is the official religion in Kuwait, and the majority of the citizen population are Muslim.
