Top Quran Memorizers Honored in Egypt

TEHRAN (IQNA) – The top participants in a Quran competition held in the holy month of Ramadan in Monufia Governorate of Egypt were honored in a ceremony earlier this week.

According to youm7.com, the Youth Charity Association of the governorate in the northern part of the country organized the ceremony to award 350 Quran memorizers of the region.

A number of the local officials, including head of the Youth Association and deputy of the Ministry of Sports and the Youth attended the program.

Memorization of the entire Quran, three quarters, half and one quarter of the Quran and memorization of the 30^th Juz (part) of Quran were the categories of the Ramadan Quran memorization contest.

The competition also included categories for the disabled and for children.
