Five Injured in Israeli Artillery Shelling in Gaza

TEHRAN (IQNA) –  Five Palestinians were wounded, one of them critically, after an Israeli artillery shelling targeted the area of ​​Khuza’a east of Khan Younis city, southern Gaza strip, on Wednesday morning.

 

Local Palestinian radio reported that five Palestinians were wounded after the Israeli artillery fired five shells in the vicinity of a school in the area.

The radio added that the shelling was followed by firing intense fire in the area, Palestine News Network reported. 

Al-Aqsa TV reported that the Israeli army shelled the area under claims that a group of civilians were approaching the border fence. 

In addition, Israeli artillery on Tuesday evening targeted Al-Bureij camp, central Gaza Strip, twice, injuring four, two of them children who sustained moderate to severe leg injuries.
